What We Do

LCI Furnaces is engaged in the design, manufacture, sales and servicing of build-to-order computer controlled near infrared laboratory and production fast-fire belt furnaces, ovens, dryers and kilns for semiconductor packaging, electronics manufacturing, polymer and encapsulant curing, drying, hybrid thick film and thin film processing, reflow, flat panel display and photovoltaic solar cell manufacturing. Other applications include precious metal and alloy annealing, dental lab processing, pin brazing, package sealing, lead frame embed and chip joining.  New equipment is configured for clean room operation and to optimize production to specified customer requirements.  Our efficient business model and lean footprint allows us to offer the lowest prices for production-quality near-infrared furnace equipment anywhere.

See a partial list of our customers here.

Equipment

Our infrared furnaces are built for production applications that require highly repeatable performance temperature profiles from as low as 80°C up to a maximum of 1000°C in a controlled atmosphere of nitrogen, forming gas, hydrogen or clean dry air. On-board sampling system and analyzers can monitor furnace atmosphere conditions achievable below 10 ppmv oxygen. On computer-controlled model furnaces, residence time, ramp-up and cooling rates are controlled by sophisticated PID software operated on a RAID1 computer. We also offer furnaces with our newer design Discrete Digital Control System which offers sophisticated control without a computer interface.  Equipment is designed for expected life of better than 15 to 20 years.

Profiling software and production light towers,  Product Alert or SMEMA parts handling and handshake options are available on most equipment.  A sampling system with an oxygen and/or moisture analyzer can be incorpoarted into the finished furnace.

The electrics on most furnaces are configurable for installation world-wide, so the furnace can be moved from one location to another often with only a simple re-tap of the inputs to accommodate the new environment (for example 480 Vac, 60 Hz to 380 Vac, 50 Hz).

Background

GreenBridge Technology, the original Radiant Technology Corporation, spun off its furnace business, including service and replacement parts support, in March 2007.  For more than 30 years, RTC built itself into the world leader of conveyor near-infrared furnaces, ovens and dryers for the photovoltaic (solar cell), semiconductor processing, and microelectronics packaging and assembly technology industries. Now Lochaber Cornwall Inc (LCI) is responsible for warranty of your continuous belt furnace equipment.

Staff

Comprised of former GreenBridge / RTC staff, LCI emerged in March 2007 to continue to supply high quality furnace equipment and service to new customers and customers with RTC furnaces.  When FurnacePros services your GBT or RTC brand furnace, it is supported by the same team that has accumulated many years of knowledge and experience building conveyor near-infrared furnaces for many applications.

Support

See our support page for latest in technical notes, installation and troubleshooting documents and operating manuals for getting the most out of your RTC Radiant Technology and LCI infrared furnaces.

Commitment to Quality

Because LCI clearly understands the importance of keeping your furnace equipment well supported, we will move quickly to meet your needs. If you have any concerns regarding our customer service, please contact our corporate office by email or telephone (949) 218-49962.
